From picking a theme to publishing on your own domain — here's the whole thing, end to end. No jargon, no developer required.

The Problem

Where most schools get stuck

Most Philippine schools face the same four problems when it comes to being online. The good news? There's a better way.

— 01

Still using a Facebook page?

Parents searching for your school find a Facebook page with unorganized posts. Not a professional website with admissions info, programs, and contact details.

Keep the page. Shore publishes to both at once — one post, on your site and your Page.

— 02

Invisible on Google

When a parent Googles "private school near me," your school doesn't show up. Without a proper website with SEO, you're losing prospective families every day.

— 03

Outdated and stuck

Your website was built years ago by a freelancer who's gone. Now it's stuck in 2018, and nobody in your school can change a single word on it.

— 04

Invisible to overseas parents

2.19 million Filipinos worked overseas in 2024. The ones with school-age children pick a school from Google searches and video tours, not campus visits. Without a professional website, your school doesn't exist to them.

The Other Problem

Your website isn't
just outdated.
It's a target.

Breaches went from 401K records across 28 incidents in 2020 to 16.6M records in 2025 — and with 37 incidents logged so far, 2026 has already passed 2020's record for incident volume. Unauthorized access accounts for 41% of every incident we track and website defacement another 18%. The largest cluster of 2026 ran through shared hosting: attackers planted web shells on a hosting account, then pivoted into multiple schools at once.

How Shore Answers

Built secure
by default.

Schools shouldn't have to become security experts. Shore handles the hard parts so you can focus on running your school — not patching servers or chasing plugin updates.

Firebase on Google Cloud, behind Cloudflare. Not shared hosting.

Your site runs on Firebase and Google Cloud with Cloudflare in front — the same infrastructure trusted by Fortune 500s and governments worldwide. Enterprise-grade DDoS protection, a global CDN, and automatic scaling. Not the shared cPanel model that enabled 2026's multi-school pivot attacks.

No WordPress, no plugins

Of the 11,334 WordPress vulnerabilities disclosed in 2025, 91% were in plugins and 9% in themes — and 46% had no patch available the day they went public. Shore has no plugins to patch. The whole system is managed and updated by us, never by you.

Patchstack, State of WordPress Security in 2026 →

Monitored, patched, backed up

Automatic security patching. Daily offsite backups. Continuous monitoring. The things a freelancer promised five years ago but nobody's actually been doing.

SSL & HTTPS, always on

Free SSL certificates renewed automatically. No expired-cert warnings scaring off parents. No insecure form submissions exposing inquiry data.

RA 10173 aligned

Form submissions, inquiry data, and application records are handled with the Data Privacy Act in mind — consent prompts, audit logs, and retention controls baked in.

Your data, portable

You own every page, submission, and upload. Export anytime as standard formats. No lock-in, no "call us to get your files" — because your school's data is your school's.

Plus, the basics done properly

Built for the web as it actually is in 2026.

Fast, always

Static pages from a global CDN, images optimized per device, and no plugin bloat to slow things down. Our bar for every theme: a 90+ Lighthouse performance score on mobile, measured on a throttled 4G connection.

Mobile-first

Designed for the phone first. Most parents will only ever see your site on one.

SEO-ready

Semantic markup, meta tags, sitemaps, Open Graph. So families can find you on Google.

We don't just build schools a website — we track what's happening to them. SchoolBreach.org is our free public research project documenting every known breach at Philippine schools. Everything we learn there shapes how we build Shore.

Founding Schools

Become a Shore founding school.

Shore is early, and we're being straight about that. Launch your school's new website with direct onboarding from the OceanEd team, introductory pricing, and priority support while we build out the platform alongside our first schools.

Guided initial setup

We provision your site within a day of signing, pre-filled with placeholder content so you can see it live immediately.

Theme and brand configuration

We select your theme with you and adjust its colors, fonts, logo placement, and navigation to match your school's branding.

Two rounds of design adjustment

Included on the initial build. Tell us what's off and we'll change it — twice, before you go live.

Domain and SSL, connected

A free .com domain registered for you, or your existing .edu.ph connected. SSL is set up and renews automatically either way.

Priority launch support

Email support in English and Filipino, Monday to Friday. We target a first response within one working day while you're getting live.

Introductory renewal pricing

Your first renewal is ₱3,990 instead of the regular ₱7,990 — a one-time founding-school rate.

Book a Demo
Do I need a developer to set up or manage my site?

No. Shore is built specifically so school staff — principals, admissions officers, communications teams — can manage the website without any coding. Everything is drag-and-drop.

Can more than one person manage the site?

Yes, and you control what each of them can do. Give your admissions officer, communications staff, or a student volunteer their own login — they can draft and edit, while only the people you choose can publish, change your site's design, or touch settings. Nothing goes live because someone clicked the wrong button.

Who writes the content and provides the photos?

You do. Your school is the source of all text, images, logos, staff and program info, and policies — you own and supply everything that goes on the site. We don't write copy, take photos, or place content on your behalf. You log in and enter it all directly. Copywriting, photography, videography, and translation are not included in the price; if you'd like help with any of them, we can point you to partners, but that's a separate engagement. What we do handle is the setup around your material: provisioning, theme and brand configuration, domain and SSL, and up to two rounds of design adjustment on the initial build.

How fast can my site go live?

Once the agreement is signed, we provision your site within a day — pre-filled with placeholder content so you can see it live immediately. From there, you log in and replace the placeholders with your own details: logo, photos, copy, programs, staff, and contact info. With everything on hand, most schools are fully set up within a week.

What domain will my school site use?

We register a free .com domain for you (e.g., yourschool.com) as part of setup. If you already have an .edu.ph or .ph, you can connect it instead — we don't acquire those for you, but the DNS setup is straightforward and SSL is included either way.

Do we have to give up our Facebook page?

No — keep it. Your families already follow it, and Shore is built to work with it rather than replace it. Connect your Page once during setup, and posts you publish in Shore can go straight to Facebook with a link back to your website. You write it once, it appears in both places, and the traffic comes back to a site you own.

What happens after the first year?

Year 1 is ₱14,990 (regular ₱29,990) and covers setup, design adjustment, domain, SSL, hosting, and every feature. Year 2 — your first renewal — is ₱3,990 at the founding-school rate (regular ₱7,990). From year 3 onward the regular annual renewal rate of ₱7,990 applies. The ₱3,990 is a one-time introductory renewal, not a permanent rate, and we give at least 30 days' written notice before any renewal price change. Your content, domain, and everything you've built stays exactly as it is regardless.

How does the Facebook Page connection actually work?

Someone with admin access to your school's Facebook Page authorizes Shore once during setup. After that, each news post or announcement you publish in Shore has a per-post toggle: leave it on and Shore shares the post to your Page with a link back to the full article on your website. Two things worth knowing up front. First, Meta expires these authorizations periodically, so every so often you'll be asked to reconnect the Page — until you do, posts stay on your website and simply aren't shared. Second, this runs on Meta's Pages API, so what's supported can change when Meta changes its platform. Your website is the system of record; the Facebook share is a convenience layer on top of it, never a dependency.

Can you move the content from our existing website?

Content migration isn't part of standard setup. Most schools copy their existing text and images in through the page builder — it's usually faster than it sounds, since a lot of old-site content gets rewritten anyway. If you'd rather we handle a bulk migration, tell us what's there and we'll scope and quote it separately.

Can I switch themes after I've started?

Yes. All your content — pages, events, news, submissions — is preserved. Switching themes re-skins your site and doesn't wipe your data, though some themes have sections or fields that will need to be filled in.

Is Shore only for schools in the Philippines?

Shore is designed first for Philippine K–12 schools — the language, pricing, domain conventions, and support reflect that. But it works for schools anywhere.

How is Shore different from Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress?

Shore is purpose-built for schools — not a generic website builder repurposed with a school template. Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress are designed for restaurants, portfolios, and online stores; making them work for a school means stitching together plugins for inquiry forms, events, news, job postings, and admissions — each with its own login, bill, and security risk. Shore ships with school-specific blocks (programs, faculty, facilities), a parent-inquiry inbox, permission slips and registration forms, an events calendar, a job board, and AI chat trained on your school's info — all built in, on one bill, from a team that only works with Philippine schools.

What's the difference between Shore and OceanEd?

Shore is part of OceanEd — the public-facing marketing website piece. OceanEd itself is the full school management system (enrollment, gradebook, billing, student records), and both sit within the larger Ocean Ecosystem of products built for Philippine schools. Everything connects seamlessly because it's one team, one platform.

The Next Step

Give your school the website it deserves.

Founding-school pricing: ₱14,990 all-in for your first year (reg. ₱29,990) — setup, design, and every feature included. Year 2 renews at ₱3,990, then ₱7,990/year from year 3. No developer needed. Add your content and your school can be live within a week.
